EFTP Scholars
The 2009-Summer English Program in Hue is a sound success. As many as 500 students were attending the program.
Ms Natalie Van, EFTP President, spent three weeks in Vietnam in Summer 2009 to foster the Summer English Program.
Congratulation to Ai Chau Hoang, Tuong Van Nguyen, Quynh Chau Hoang, Hung Hoang, Thu Truong, Daniel Demoray, Henry Hieu Nguyen for their outstanding service as teaching volunteers in Summer 2009.

ducation For The Poor is a group of young individuals dedicated to the advancement and well being of the
poor in Vietnam. We are a non-profit organization headquartered in Long Beach, California.
Our activities, in a nutshell, include:
- Promote students' learning by providing scholarship.
- Offer English conversation and pronunciation courses via our Summer Program.
- Research and write learning materials for our Summer Program.
- Launch an English Speaking Club in Hue, Vietnam, 2008.
- Build computer labs for students.
- Teach students to hold accountability for their work.
- Collaborate with religious leaders and educational activists.
